At Setup on Thursday, July 8:
Setup hours are noon to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 8. A City of Sun Valley Sales Tax Permit must be presented at check in.
During the Festival:
Sales Tax
Each artist is responsible for the collection of the City of Sun Valley sales tax (2%) and the state of Idaho sales tax (6%)—a total of 8% for each sale.
All artists must have a city of Sun Valley Tax Permit with them at Festival Check in on Thursday, July 8. The city requires this if we wish to continue using
Festival Meadow. If you have not been contacted by email by the City of Sun Valley with a tax permit application attached by July 1, please call please call
622-4438, extension 19. Permits cost $10.
Attendance
Booths must be attended by the artist on all three days of the festival. Assistants are welcome, but commercial agents, representatives, dealers, or hired
salespeople may not replace the artist's presence at the festival.
Parking
Limited parking is available on site at the north end of Festival Meadow. This lot is closed during Festival hours.
Overnight camping is not permitted by the City of Sun Valley.
Morning Coffee, Artists' Gathering
Coffee and pastries are provided each morning for artists before the Festival.
Saturday after the Festival there is an artists' gathering. Beer, wine, and hors d'oeuvre are provided.
Loss or Damage
An overnight volunteer patrol is provided, but neither the Ketchum Arts Festival nor the City of Sun Valley assumes responsibility for lost, damaged or
stolen items.
Noise Prevention
Generators are not permitted.
Artists will be asked to keep all noise (including radios, background music, played instruments, etc.) at an absolute minimum in consideration of other artists
and patrons.
Roaming Vendors
Roaming sales are not permitted. Artists may sell within three feet of their booths as long as they do not infringe upon the space assigned another artist.
Umbrellas
Sun shading umbrellas are permitted outside your booth space, as long as they do not infringe on another
artist's space or block patron traffic flow.
